Woodland and pasture-grazed beef, fed organic and non- gmo feedstuffs grown on-site. From our farm to your table, we take great pride in the beef we raise and the sustainable, small scale farm where we live.

Our cattle are grazed on the 8th generation Gregg-family farm, listed on the Ohio registry of historical sites as a bicentennial family farm. The farm has been USDA certified organic since 1980, one of the first in the state. Markley Run is registered with the Ohio Department of Agriculture Division of Food Safety for meat sales.

We keep our prices reasonable because we are here to make a living, not a killing. We own every aspect of the process, from calving to breeding stock, organic pasture to hay, and even the straw used for bedding and we pass those cost savings along to our customers. We enjoy providing beef for our family, friends, and neighbors and reasonable prices are a part of that. The farm is named after Markley Run, the spring-fed creek that runs the length of the property. The forested pastures where our cattle graze spans the Greenville Treaty Line, another historical landmark in Knox County Ohio.
